So, what if The Original Fantasy Roleplaying Game had been designed to mechanically facilitate stimulating intellectual debate and social interaction, rather than combat? These rules take that idea and run with it.

Imagine a world where civilized gentlemen and ladies resolve disputes by way of rousing intellectual arguments instead of crossing swords and, instead of seeking out vast riches in monster-infested holes in the ground, wealth is won and lost via contract negotiations over refreshing drinks at upscale dinner parties. This is the world of Socialites & Soirees.

But don't worry - included are optional rules for those disreputable thugs amongst you who would rather settle things with fisticuffs or a clash of blades, rather than civil discourse.
