Yarnmaster Fantasy Roleplay
A downloadable game
Inspired by both N. Robin Crossby’s HarnMaster and S.P. Wipfli’s Dead Meat, Yarnmaster is a tabletop RPG that leans heavily into low fantasy verisimilitude without relying on an excessive amount of crunch or a large tome of rules. If you like creating stories with robust yet simple rules - Yarnmaster may very well be for you.
[Update: 011/19/22. Updated rules for called shots so that my intent is more clear.]

Awesome game! Simple yet fun mechanics. But im confused about the “called shot”. Does the attack actually bypass armor negating it’s protection or can you only preform a called shot on an unarmored part of the body? The wording was a little confusing to me - but im also a moron so could just be me 😂😅
Sorry for that! A called shot is necessary to target a specific unarmored part of the body. Otherwise, it's up to luck (the random location roll) as to whether a character hits an unarmored body part. This is what I meant to indicate. I can clean that up in a future revision.
